What if you have NO idea?

...then what do you do?

Any suggestions? (here come the joke comments...)

  1. Sit down, away from Facebook and other distractions, and think about personalities and characters and how they work together.

Choose a location, then build a character and 2ndary characters around it.

Consider a conflict: someone has to battle something...an animal, a relative, an idea...

Think about a problem that a lot of people (kids) may identify with, then build from that.

If none of the above works, go ask Mike for an idea.

  2. think of what your favourite shows were as a kid. then try and figure out what aspect of them it was that you liked so much.

you can take some of these 'aspects of existing shows' and combine them in a way that interests you, use that as a starting point.

remember that everything is derivative. there are only a small number of story types. take one of these types and give a Dennis-style punch in the face (an original twist, dude)

also remember to craft a story that interests you, not what you think will interest others. it will turn out better that way

    THEN!

sit down at your desk/comptuer and start drawing what comes to mind.!

haha you wouldn't believe the stuff that comes out of your head!
